Firm copies in tight binding; green cloth with black and gilt decortaions and titles on front boards and spines; bevelled edges; cloth rather marked & shelf worn; spines faded, with wear at head & foot. Gift inscription, dated 1905 on front free end paper of both volumes. Yellow end papers; edges full gilt; further name inked onto verso of each ffep - dated 1939. Light scattered foxing to prelims. Fold out maps present. This is a heavy set weighing over 4.5kg packed; additional postage may be requested outside UK.
