Edinburgh Maclachlan & Stewart 1874 1st ed Used - Very Good. VG hardback in dark green cloth with gilt 
Page fore-edge a little foxed; front hinge cracked & repaired; owner's name (dated 1891) on front free end paper; spine a little bumped at head & foot, with some wear to cloth; board corners a little worn. Edited by Stephen H. Saxby. With 8 plates (of places, not birds); rather odd gilt vignette on front board of ink-well & quill pens held in a bird's claw.
